Electrical Site Manager – Solar Farm Project
Location: Glanmire, Co. Cork (Greenfield Site – Solar Farm)
Contract Type: Full-Time, Permanent

About the Role:
Optimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking an experienced Electrical Site Manager to lead a new solar farm development on a greenfield site based in Glanmire, Co. Cork. This is a full-time, permanent role with an immediate start, and further projects are planned across Cork City and County following completion of the initial site (12+ months duration).

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all site operations and ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of utility-scale energy systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage daily on-site activities on the solar farm project
• Coordinate subcontractors and direct labour to meet project targets
• Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance
• Oversee plant, materials, and delivery logistics
• Conduct regular site inspections and reporting
• Liaise closely with the Project Manager and wider project team
• Monitor project programme and ensure timely delivery

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in site management on large-scale construction or energy projects
• Strong electrical background, ideally within energy systems or infrastructure
• Proven leadership and coordination skills on active construction sites
• Full Irish driving licence and flexibility to travel
• Irish/UK market experience highly advantageous
