Receptionist / Administration Support
Location: Kilkenny

Are you a professional and personable individual looking to take the next step in your administrative career? Our client, a well-established accountancy practice located in the heart of Kilkenny City, is currently seeking a Receptionist / Administration Support to join their team.

This is a fantastic opportunity to become a key part of a close-knit, supportive office environment where client service and attention to detail are at the forefront of everything they do.


Duties will include:

  • Act as the first point of contact for clients and visitors – both in person and over the phone

  • Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence in a professional and efficient manner

  • Provide general administrative support to the wider office team

  • Assist with document preparation, filing, scanning, and database management

  • Maintain a tidy, welcoming, and well-organised reception area

  • Schedule appointments and manage calendars where required

  • Handle incoming/outgoing post and deliveries


Ideal Candidate:

  • At least 1 year of experience in a reception or administrative role (professional services or office-based environment preferred)

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) is essential

  • A proactive approach and the ability to work on your own initiative

  • A professional, friendly, and positive attitude with a strong sense of discretion and confidentiality
