Maintenance Manager

Permanent role.
5-day week. Saturday work required. 
Hours 8am-5pm
Salary €60-€65k Negotiable DOE

Our client, a well-established manufacturing company as part of their ongoing expansion, they are now seeking a skilled Maintenance Manager to join their team.

This is a key role responsible for lead a skilled team to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently. Drive preventive maintenance, champion continuous improvement, and ensure top-tier equipment reliability—all while maintaining the highest safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to ensure timely completion of all Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).

• Lead and coordinate all maintenance activities, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal operational performance.

• Drive, refine, and expand preventative maintenance programs across the facility.

• Maintain high standards of Health, Safety, and Hygiene, in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

• Source parts, services, and manage third-party repair contracts as needed.

• Support ongoing continuous improvement and lean engineering initiatives.

• Prioritize maintenance tasks efficiently, allocating work and resources effectively.

• Conduct regular stock checks and keep inventory systems up to date.

• Maintain accurate and comprehensive maintenance records.

• Assist with engineering budgets, cost tracking, and analysis.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Maintenance Management role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.

• Qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge of plant and equipment.

• Proven experience in managing and executing preventative maintenance systems.

• An electrical background is highly advantageous but not essential.

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting capabilities.

• Proficient in MS Office and general IT systems.

• Clear, effective communication skills.

• Full, clean driving license required.
