Senior Ecologist – Infrastructure & Environment Projects
Location: Flexible (Hybrid) / Dublin North

Join a dynamic Environment team working on high-impact infrastructure projects across Ireland in sectors like water, energy, and transport. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced ecologist to lead and contribute to diverse environmental projects alongside engineers and scientists.

What is required:

  • Degree in Ecology or related field
  • Chartered or working towards chartered status (e.g. CIEEM)
  • Strong consultancy experience and technical reporting skills
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish ecological legislation and planning
  • GIS skills (QGIS, ArcGIS, or MapInfo) desirable
  • Full clean driver’s licence

What is it you will do:

  • Lead ecological input on infrastructure projects
  • Manage and deliver EcIA, PEA, EIAR biodiversity chapters, and Appropriate Assessments
  • Conduct and coordinate field surveys (habitat, botany, ornithology, mammals, bats)
  • Mentor junior ecologists and liaise with clients and stakeholders
  • Support project and budget management
