Warehouse & Dispatch Operative
Location: Tipperary

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse and Dispatch Operative to join our client’s team in Tipperary within the renewable energy industry. This role is vital to the smooth operation of the warehouse, goods in and dispatch functions, focusing on picking and assembling orders, handling documentation, and coordinating goods. You will work closely with the Country Manager and liaise with carriers to ensure timely and accurate processing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking & Assembly: Accurately pick and assemble orders, ensuring completeness and correctness.
• Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including order forms and dispatch documentation.
• Dispatch Coordination: Load orders and prepare them for dispatch; ensure products are labelled and documented correctly.
• Carrier Coordination: Prepare dispatch lists for external carriers, and timing for pickups.
• Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift to load and move pallets (license required).
• Communication: Liaise with all internal and external parties to ensure smooth operations
• Flexibility: Accommodate late collections ensuring products and paperwork are ready.
• Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or order dispatch environment advantageous.
• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficiency in using basic Excel and computer systems for order tracking.
• Valid forklift license and proven experience with forklift operations.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work varied shifts depending on business needs.
