Warehouse & Dispatch Operative
Location: Cork

We are currently seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse and Dispatch Operative to join our clients team in Cork within the FMCG Production industry. This role is vital to the smooth operation of the warehouse and dispatch functions, focusing on picking and assembling orders, handling documentation, and coordinating dispatch. You will work closely with the production team and liaise with carriers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

• Order Picking & Assembly: Accurately pick and assemble orders from production, ensuring completeness and correctness.

• Documentation: Complete all necessary paperwork, including order forms and dispatch documentation.

• Invoicing: Process invoices using our in-house Excel-based system.

• Dispatch Coordination: Load orders onto pallets and prepare them for dispatch; ensure products are labeled and documented correctly.

• Carrier Coordination: Prepare dispatch lists for external carriers, indicating the number of pallets and timing for pickups.

• Forklift Operation: Operate a forklift to load and move pallets (license required).

• Communication: Liaise with production and logistics teams to ensure order flow and dispatch timings are maintained.

• Flexibility: Accommodate and ensure all is in order for late collections after work hours- products and paperwork are ready.

• Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the warehouse.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or order dispatch environment.

• Ability to work independently and manage your own workload with minimal supervision.

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

• Proficiency in using basic Excel and in-house systems for order tracking and invoicing.

• Valid forklift license and proven experience with forklift operations.

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work varied shifts depending on business needs.
