Site Manager (Fit-Out) – North Kildare & Dublin
Location: Initial Project in Celbridge (4–5 months), followed by Rathcoole
Hours: Night-time works for initial project.
Travel: Projects generally across Dublin & Leinster
Role Type: Full-time, Permanent

About the Role
Optimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking a Site Manager to join a growing fit-out contractor with an excellent reputation across the retail and commercial sectors. The successful candidate will initially take the lead on a supermarket fit-out in Celbridge (night shift, approx. 4–5 months), before progressing onto further works in Rathcoole and other Leinster-based locations.

This position will suit someone eager to grow into a Project Manager role over time. With a strong pipeline of projects and a supportive team structure, this is an opportunity to build long-term progression in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the on-site delivery of fit-out projects to programme and spec
  • Liaise with Contracts/Operations Manager on all project matters
  • Manage subcontractors, site staff, and suppliers
  • Ensure all safety protocols are actively enforced
  • Maintain clear communication with client and design teams
  • Implement strong quality control procedures
  • Coordinate site documentation and reporting
  • Resolve technical and on-site issues efficiently
  • Attend site and coordination meetings with all relevant parties

Requirements

  • Minimum 4–5 years’ experience in fit-out at Site Manager or Foreperson level
  • Track record on retail/commercial fit-out projects essential
  • Experience with night-time programmes highly advantageous
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety and quality protocols
  • Ability to manage fast-track schedules under pressure
  • Excellent coordination and leadership skills
  • Full Irish driving licence
