Senior Site Manager – CSA & Finishing
Location: Dublin (with office base in Carlow depending on experience)
Salary: €90,000–€100,000 DOE
Hours: Full-time, permanent
Package: Vehicle, mileage, pension, and additional benefits

About the Role
Optimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking a Senior Site Manager with strong CSA and finishing experience to join a main contractor delivering major projects across Dublin.
This position will oversee delivery on two active schemes: a Healthcare project in Southwest Dublin and an Educational development in Dublin 4, with additional confirmed work in the pharmaceutical sector.
The role requires a highly organised manager capable of coordinating structural, architectural, and finishing stages, ensuring quality, safety, programme, and client expectations are consistently achieved.
The ideal candidate will take a leading role on-site, manage subcontractors across all phases, and support the senior management team in maintaining high project standards from groundwork to final handover.

Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day site operations across structural, architectural, and finishing stages
• Manage subcontractors to ensure sequencing, quality, and safety targets are met
• Lead finishing works and snagging close-out to required specifications
• Review drawings, raise technical queries, and support construction solutions
• Track programme progress and report updates to senior management
• Conduct regular quality inspections to maintain high workmanship standards
• Coordinate with design teams, consultants, and client representatives
• Support procurement planning and material coordination on-site
• Promote a strong health and safety culture throughout all project phases
• Assist in maintaining site records, reporting, and compliance documentation

Requirements
• Trade background or degree in construction, engineering, or similar discipline
• 7+ years’ site management experience with strong CSA and finishing exposure
• Proven ability to lead subcontractors across multiple build stages
• Strong knowledge of technical drawings and construction methodology
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to handle high-pressure environments and drive project completion
• Irish or UK experience is highly advantageous
