Site Manager – Residential Apartments
Location: Donaghmede, North Dublin

About the Role
Optimize Recruitment, working in partnership with our client – a strong Irish Main Contractor – are seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a significant residential apartment development in Donaghmede, North Dublin.

This project is a largescale Apartment project, with multiple blocks. associated site infrastructure, basements, childcare facilities, concierge suites, and significant public realm works. Experience with large-scale residential projects is essential, and prior exposure to multi-block developments and M&E elements will be highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site delivery across designated blocks or sections
• Coordinate site activities, subcontractors, and engineering input
• Enforce HSEQ compliance across all operations
• Oversee site documentation, reports, checklists, and daily diaries
• Liaise with design teams, consultants, and internal management
• Maintain quality control procedures and schedule adherence
• Conduct regular site inspections and drive progress against programme
• Implement risk management and site safety strategies
• Lead by example and manage labour teams effectively

Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a Site Manager role
• Strong background in residential or mixed-use developments
• Experience with apartments or multi-unit blocks highly desirable
• 3rd-level qualification or trades background considered
• Proven team leadership and subcontractor coordination experience
• Excellent knowledge of Irish construction regulations & site safety
• Skilled in construction software and programme tracking
• Irish/UK experience highly advantageous
