Project Manager – Bus Stop Contracts
Location: Dublin City & County
Salary: €70,000 – €90,000+ (DOE)
Package: Vehicle, Fuel Card, Pension, Laptop, Phone, Statutory Sick Pay, Career Development Support

About the Role
Optimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the delivery of bus stop infrastructure contracts across Dublin City and County. This position involves managing daily operations, liaising with stakeholders, and ensuring project timelines, budgets, and safety standards are met.

The role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of works, from standard installations to more complex public realm upgrades, with a well-established contractor.

Salary & Benefits

  • Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM schedule

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate the execution of multiple bus stop projects across the region
  • Liaise daily with NTA project managers and attend weekly contract meetings
  • Schedule and programme works across various active sites
  • Coordinate with site teams, subcontractors, and local authorities
  • Oversee traffic management plans, road opening licences, and utilities coordination
  • Collaborate with engineering consultants for site surveys and drawings
  • Manage project finances in coordination with Quantity Surveyors
  • Ensure strict compliance with Health & Safety standards on all sites
  • Lead and delegate to site foremen, QS, admin staff, and site crews
  • Maintain project documentation, safety folders, and progress reports

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline preferred
  • Proven experience managing public realm or infrastructure projects
  • Strong leadership and organisational abilities
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Project
  • Relevant project management and Health & Safety certifications advantageous
  • Full, clean driver’s licence
