HSE Manager – Facades Specialist
Location: North Dublin (with travel across Dublin City sites)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Salary: €60k – €85k (DOE)

About the Role:
Optimize Recruitment, working closely with our client, who are seeking a standalone HSE Manager to join a specialist subcontractor in the delivery of external facades for large commercial projects across Dublin.
Salary & Benefits:
• Salary: €60,000 – €85,000 (depending on experience)
• Additional benefits discussed at interview stage
Responsibilities:
• Lead health & safety activities across sites, fabrication facility, and office
• Conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments
• Develop, implement, and review safety documentation and procedures
• Promote safety awareness and engagement across all stakeholders
• Ensure training records and certifications are kept up to date
• Investigate incidents and near misses and implement preventive measures
• Work closely with subcontractors to ensure site compliance
• Manage induction processes and toolbox talks
• Liaise with project managers and site teams to support a positive safety culture
• Stay current with industry regulations and best practices
Requirements:
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g., NEBOSH, QQI Level 6 or equivalent)Minimum 5 years' experience in a Health & Safety role within the construction industry, with a strong focus on high-rise or multi-storey commercial projects
• Proven expertise in managing risks associated with working at height, including fall prevention, scaffolding safety, and roof-edge protection
Solid knowledge of manual handling and safe material movement on high-rise sites
• Familiarity with lift plans, hoist operations, and site logistics in vertical construction environments
• Strong incident investigation skills, with a proactive approach to hazard identification and corrective action implementation
• Additional training/certification in areas such as harness safety, MEWP operation, abrasive wheels, and mobile scaffold towers is highly desirable
• Full clean Irish driving licence required
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to train, engage, and influence site teams, subcontractors, and senior management
