M&E Coordinator – Major Irish Contractor – UCD Project, Dublin City
Location: UCD Project, Dublin City (On-site)
Salary: €70,000 - €85,000

About the Role:
Optimize Recruitment, working with our partner, a major Irish construction firm is seeking an experienced M&E Coordinator for an educational project based on-site at UCD, Dublin City. Responsibilities:
- Reviewing M&E design information and conducting a comprehensive design gap analysis with the project team.
- Monitoring and coordinating the flow of M&E design information to ensure timely release for construction activities.
- Managing the submission and approval process for all M&E technical equipment and design information (drawings).
- Ensuring compliance with statutory, regulatory, client, and company requirements, including preparation for BCAR uploads.
- Ensuring M&E designs meet economic requirements, remain within budget, and comply with contract deliverables.
- Overseeing specialist mechanical, electrical, and sprinkler sub-contractors to ensure adherence to the Safety Management System.
- Ensuring timely provision of all quality and statutory requirements by M&E subcontractors.
- Managing and maintaining accurate minutes of subcontractor meetings.
- Assisting project quantity surveyors with reviewing and preparing subcontractor monthly and final accounts.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working on-site with a large-scale construction or engineering organisation.
- Degree qualification or higher in a relevant discipline.
- Strong background in M&E, ideally with experience in Residential, Commercial, or Mixed-use developments.
- Excellent Health & Safety awareness.
- Proven experience with mechanical/electrical work and systems.
- Ability to manage time effectively, maximising efficiency and meeting challenging work goals.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in BIM, Word, Excel, and other relevant software.
