Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager – Consultancy
Location: Dublin / Leinster
Salary: €60,000 - €75,000

Overview:
Optimize Recruitment is seeking a Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager for a range of projects across Dublin and Leinster, spanning sectors such as commercial, fit-out, and potentially nursing homes. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with 3-5 years of experience looking to grow within a dynamic team. The position offers a competitive salary package and excellent opportunities for long-term development.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage design teams, ensuring timely delivery of project requirements.
• Manage programme schedules, revisions, and design information.
• Ensure all site documentation is current and accurately maintained.
• Prepare progress reports, meeting minutes, and project notes.
• Oversee contractors, ensuring adherence to quality standards and safety requirements.
• Conduct daily site inspections, providing feedback and recommendations.
• Assist in tender preparation, analysis, and contractor management.
• Support commercial team with cost reporting and budgeting.
• Facilitate site meetings, workshops, and technical issue resolution.

Requirements:

• Degree in Construction / Project Management or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 3-5 years of experience as a Project Engineer / Junior Project Manager.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively.
• High attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Ability to travel and work without restrictions within the EU or UK.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and capable of managing own workload.
