Site Managers – Residential Construction

Locations: Tallaght, Clondalkin, and Lucan,
Salary: €65,000+ (DOE)
Package: Vehicle, Fuel Card, Phone, Laptop
Employer: Tier 2 Contractor

Optimize Recruitment is seeking experienced Site Managers to oversee residential construction projects across multiple locations, including Tallaght, Clondalkin, Termonfeckin, and Lucan. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established Tier 2 contractor delivering high-quality public and private housing developments.

The Role

The successful candidates will be responsible for day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Managing all on-site construction activities, ensuring work is completed to programme.
• Coordinating and supervising subcontractors, trades, and site personnel.
• Implementing and enforcing strict health & safety standards on-site.
• Monitoring progress, quality control, and adherence to project specifications.
• Managing material procurement, deliveries, and site logistics.
• Conducting regular site meetings and reporting on progress to senior management.

Requirements:

• 3rd level qualification in Construction, Engineering, or a related discipline OR a strong trade background.
• 5+ years of site management experience, ideally in the Irish/UK residential construction industry.
• Extensive experience with Residential Construction (Housing & Apartments, ideally full cycle).
• Proven track record in delivering housing developments or apartment schemes.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent knowledge of construction processes, health & safety regulations, and quality control.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
• Full driving licence.
