Senior Site Engineer – Rosslare, Wexford 

Optimize Recruitment is seeking an experienced Senior Site Engineer to join a leading Tier 1 contractor on a major commercial project in East Wexford. This €180M+ development includes a large number of commercial buildings and offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional with a background in RC Frames, fit-outs, and commercial buildings within Ireland.

Salary: €68,000 – €78,000+ (negotiable based on experience).
Package: Vehicle, fuel, pension, phone, laptop, with additional benefits open to discussion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage engineering aspects of the project, ensuring technical and quality standards are met.
• Work closely with the site team and subcontractors to deliver the project according to plans and specifications.
• Conduct site surveys, inspections, and quality control checks.
• Coordinate with the design team and project management to resolve technical issues.
• Provide leadership to junior engineers and site staff, offering guidance and support.
• Ensure all engineering documentation and reports are accurately maintained and submitted.

Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a Senior Site Engineer role. Irish/UK experience advantageous.
• Strong technical and project management skills, particularly in RC Frames and commercial building projects.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in project management software and engineering tools.
• Relevant qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
