Site Manager – Heritage Restoration
Location: Dublin City Centre
Salary: €75,000 - €90,000 (DOE)

Optimize Recruitment is delighted to present an exciting opportunity to join a prestigious contractor working on a landmark heritage restoration project in Dublin City Centre. This role is perfect for a Site Manager passionate about maintaining historical authenticity while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Project Details

• Sector: Heritage building restoration, focusing on preserving structural and aesthetic integrity.
• Phase: Early stage, offering the opportunity to contribute to the project setup and progression.
• Team: Oversee a skilled and experienced workforce dedicated to delivering exceptional results in historical preservation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage daily site activities, ensuring smooth operations and timely progress.
• Supervise and coordinate subcontractors and site teams to achieve project milestones.
• Maintain the balance between historical preservation and modern construction practices.
• Enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards throughout the site.
• Monitor project performance and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• At least 8 years’ experience in site management on general building or fit-out projects, with a preference for heritage restoration experience.
• Experience withing an Irish/UK Main Contractor, ideally Tier 1 
• Strong leadership and organisational skills to manage a diverse team effectively.
• Solid knowledge of construction methodologies, safety standards, and quality assurance practices.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and communication skills to collaborate with stakeholders and project teams.
