Civil Site Engineer – Midlands and Northern Ireland Regions

Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Engineer to join a growing team with projects spanning the Midlands, Kildare, Donegal, and other northern locations. This role requires a dynamic professional with strong site engineering skills, particularly in setting out and coordinating site activities. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in civil engineering practices and an eye for detail.

Package:

• Salary: €38,000 - €48,000, depending on experience
• Overnight accommodations and meals provided when necessary
• Company car and fuel card included for travel to multiple sites

Responsibilities:

• Set out and manage site activities in collaboration with the Project Manager and Site Foreman.
• Ensure dimensional accuracy during the installation of precast concrete elements.
• Prepare and manage tender documents, overseeing subcontractor selections.
• Coordinate site health and safety requirements with the Project and Health & Safety Managers.
• Maintain detailed records, including daily site diaries and inspection reports.
• Liaise with clients and manage communication with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Assist in resource planning and scheduling, including logistics for labour, equipment, and material deliveries.

Requirements:

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (Level 7 or 8) or equivalent experience
• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the Irish Construction Industry, with a good understanding of site operations
• Strong skills in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and knowledge of Eurocodes
• Valid Safe Pass and full driving license are highly desirable
• Fluent English
