Environmental Director

Optimize Recruitment is hiring an Environmental Director on behalf of a well-established, multi-disciplinary consultancy that specializes in environmental consulting, sustainability, and engineering. With offices located across Ireland, this firm serves a diverse range of clients, including local authorities, the renewable energy sector, and the construction industry. Their skilled team of engineers and environmental scientists delivers high-quality, clear, and comprehensive technical guidance to help clients navigate complex industry challenges.

The successful candidate will have:

• 10+ years of relevant experience, with preference for those with expertise in the Irish environmental consultancy sector.
• A third-level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent report writing and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of motivation.
• Self-driven with a solution-oriented approach.
• Knowledge of internal management systems, with experience in implementing new software being an advantage.
• A full, clean driving license.
