Environmental Consultant

Optimize Recruitment is hiring an Environmental Consultant on behalf of a well-regarded multi-disciplinary consultancy specializing in environmental consulting, sustainability, and engineering. With offices across various locations in Ireland, this firm supports clients in sectors such as local authorities, renewable energy, and construction. Their team of expert engineers and environmental scientists provides high-quality, clear, and comprehensive technical advice to address complex industry challenges.

The successful candidate will have:

• A third-level qualification (Degree/Master's) in environmental science or a related discipline.
• Experience working within the Irish environmental and planning legislative frameworks, including EPA licensing and report writing/review.
• Strong report writing and presentation skills.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• A minimum of 4+ years of relevant experience (preferred).
• A high level of motivation and attention to detail.
• A proactive, solution-driven approach.
• A full, clean driving licence.

Additionally, the candidate should:

• Be passionate about environmental sustainability and eager to learn.
• Demonstrate a commitment to delivering quality work with a strong attention to detail.
• Be able to work under supervision, take direction, and contribute effectively to the team.
• Feel comfortable engaging professionally with clients, peers, and other stakeholders.
• Possess analytical thinking and the ability to apply creative solutions to project challenges.
