Principle / Senior EIA Consultant

Optimize Recruitment is seeking a Principal / Senior EIA Consultant on behalf of a respected multi-disciplinary consultancy specializing in environmental consultancy, sustainability, and engineering. With offices across multiple locations in Ireland, the company supports clients in various sectors, including, local authorities, renewable energy, and construction. Their team of expert engineers and environmental scientists delivers high-quality, clear, and comprehensive technical advice to address complex industry challenges.

Key Qualifications and Skills

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications and competencies:

• A third-level qualification (Degree/Masters) in environmental science or a related field.
• Extensive experience in the Irish environmental and planning regulatory framework, including EIAR project management and report writing/review.
• Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
• 10+ years of relevant experience preferred.
• Coordination and writing of (EIAR).
• Managing planning applications and conducting pre-application consultations with local authorities.
• Exceptional report writing and presentation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a self-motivated, solutions-oriented mindset.
• A full clean driving licence.
