Senior Project Manager – Commercial Construction Project
Location: Waterford City & County
Salary: c.€85,000+

Our client is seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in commercial construction to oversee key projects in Waterford City.

The successful candidate will be working on a Large-Scale Office Project in Waterford City.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the entire lifecycle of commercial construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within budget and to the highest standards.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects, coordinating with on-site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
• Act as the key point of contact for project stakeholders, maintaining strong relationships with clients and ensuring their needs are met.
• Ensure strict adherence to safety regulations and quality control throughout the project duration.
• Implement and monitor project schedules, milestones, and resources, making necessary adjustments to ensure optimal project flow.
• Regular reporting to senior management on project progress, budget updates, and any potential risks.

Key Requirements:

• 8+ years of project management experience within the construction industry, preferably with a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
• Proven track record managing large and mid-sized commercial projects, ideally within Ireland.
• 3^rd Level Education in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Similar.
• Commutable distance to Waterford City and Project Locations.
• Strong experience in project planning, risk management, and resource allocation.
• Excellent leadership, communication, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Software: MS Office Suite, MS Project, Procore, AutoCAD.
• A strong commitment to quality control and health & safety standards.
