Innovation Technologist (Food Sector) – Co. Kildare

The successful Technologist will be working on the development team, with responsibilities that include launching approved products through the factory.

The successful individual will have a 3rd level Degree in Food Science / Culinary Science or related discipline and 2+ years NPD experience.

Reporting to the Culinary and Innovation Manager, key responsibilities will include:

• Develop new product concepts
• Participate in presentations externally and internally to stakeholders and customers
• Drive the innovation & launch of new product concepts through the approved Stage Gate Process
• Organise product and sample submissions to customers
• Arrange trials and pre-production trials on new products
• Completion and recording of customer trackers, product costings, sensory analysis trials, competitor benchmarking and shelf-life analysis trials from an organoleptic and microbiological point of view
• Design QAS documents
• Complete 1st production/launch, & sign off
• Complete post-launch reviews and issue reports
