Senior Mechanical Quantity Surveyor – Service & Maintenance

Location: South Dublin
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Mix of in-office and on-site

Optimize Recruitment is seeking a Senior Mechanical Quantity Surveyor for a leading national provider of mechanical service installations. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing costings across diverse projects while advancing your career within a growing organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate sub-contractor agreements and contracts, focusing on risk, program, terms, and design responsibility.
• Prepare tender risk analyses and contract documentation, including bills of quantities.
• Identify and manage commercial risks, providing strategic responses and solutions.
• Advise on contractual claims, analyse outcomes, and prepare accurate forecasts and reports.
• Present monthly project and business review reports, adhering to company standards.

Requirements

• Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role within the mechanical or building services sector.
• Qualification in Quantity Surveying, Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong time management skills and exceptional attention to detail.
• A valid driving licence is advantageous but not essential.

Additional Information

• Hybrid Work: 1 day remote after probation.
• Site Visits: Weekly or fortnightly as required.
• Reporting To: Operations Director.
• Salary & Benefits: Competitive package ranging from €75,000 to €95,000+, with additional benefits discussed at the interview stage.
