Senior Practice Accountant – Clonmel, Tipperary

An Accountancy practice based in Clonmel has an opportunity available for an experienced Practice Accountant to join their team.

This dynamic practice provides taxation, advisory and audit services, managing a diverse range of clients across a various industry sectors.

Managing a portfolio of clients and reporting into the senior manager, your role will include:

• All areas of accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships, companies to partner review stage.
• Preparation of audited accounts and supporting audit file.
• Preparation of all tax returns.
• Preparation of statutory returns.
• Management accounts including budgeting and forecasting.
• Provide strategic and commercial advice to clients.
• Work collaboratively with internal & external stakeholders to meet deadlines

The successful individual will have the following:

• Accountancy qualification or part Qualification
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice environment is essential
• Experience bringing accounts to finalisation VAT, PAYE, RCT, Income Tax experience.
• Tax qualified would be advantageous but not essential.
• Proficient with Accounting packages and Excel
