Job Title: Quantity Surveyor (Consultancy)(PQS)
Location: Kilkenny City
Type: Mainly office-based with rare site visits

Hybrid working model provided.

About the Company: Our client is a highly reputable consultancy firm based in Kilkenny City, known for their dedication to employee care and a supportive work environment. They are looking to expand their team, which currently consists of about 12 members, due to a busy workload across various sectors including education, healthcare, residential, hospitality, agricultural, and municipal projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of cost plans and estimates.
• Conduct measurements and valuations.
• Prepare tender documents and manage tender processes.
• Support in contract administration and cost control.
• Perform cost analysis and reporting.
• Assist in resolving contractual and commercial issues.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and project teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
• Experience with CostX, Cubit, or similar software is desirable.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Good communication and team-working abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
