Senior Contracts Manager
Pharmaceutical/Cleanroom Projects
Oxford, England

Our client, a highly regarded Irish Contractor who specliases in the Pharmaceutical and Cleanroom sectors, are seeking a Contracts Manager, who has proven experience in managing construction projects, along with experience in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (M&E). Background with Pharmaceutical Projects is highly advantageous.

The role will be based in Oxford, however, can incorporate travel to further locations in the UK and the Republic of Ireland.

Responsibilities:

• Managing and reporting to senior management cash flow and profit progress at regular intervals throughout projects.
• Ensuring targets are met and a high-performance standard is achieved on all projects.
• Responsible for HSEQ performance on projects.
• Creating and maintaining positive working relationships with all stakeholders on projects.
• Responsible for resource planning, allocation, and management.

Requirements:

• 5+ Years in Cleanroom Construction - Ideally in a Contracts Manager position.
• Demonstrates urgency and proactive problem solving.
• Organised with the proven ability to multitask and delegate appropriately.
• Forward-thinking with a focus on risk mitigation and management.
• Ability to make informed decisions and follow up on these decisions.
• Engineering discipline or other relevant degree required.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical background desirable.
• CSCS qualification or relevant safety certification required.
• NEBOSH qualification desired.
• Extensive experience of commercial management and knowledge of contracts required.
• Managerial experience managing a team of 10+ persons desired.
• Relevant experience in a similar role (modular experience desired).
