Project Manager (Construction)
Either Waterford, Carlow or Clonmel
Pharmaceutical Projects

Join a leading Irish Construction company, revered for its 50-year legacy in transforming landscapes across sectors like Pharmaceutical, Educational, Healthcare, and Commercial, including high-end Fit-out projects. Our esteemed client is actively searching a Project Manager to contribute to their ongoing success.

Projects are based around the Waterford, Carlow and Clonmel area's, and the candidate can be located which is most suitable. 

The candidate will ideally have experience working on Pharmaceutical projects. 

Responsibilities:
  • Creating and updating contract and subcontract schedules to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Maintenance of company-owned plant and equipment to keep it in operational condition.
  • In-depth knowledge of RIAI Standard Forms of Contract and Building Control Regulations.
  • Solid technical understanding of construction processes and details.
  • Adherence to project management standards in line with company policies, Building Regulations, and ensuring projects meet budget, specification, and schedule.
  • Coordination of construction projects to align with planned outcomes and stakeholder expectations.
  • Management and direction of site staff and subcontractors to ensure project efficiency and quality.
  • Quality control monitoring regarding workmanship and material compliance.
  • Effective communication and liaison with the construction team to guarantee timely access to necessary information for all parties involved.
  • Ensuring compliance with project drawings, specifications, building regulations, health and safety standards, and best building practices.

Requirements:
  • Degree in Engineering/Construction Management or related field required, with over 5 years' experience as a Project Manager on projects exceeding €10m.
  • Seeking a driven individual with outstanding negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office/Excel and Microsoft Project.
  • Capable of making decisions under pressure, with strong initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent leadership qualities to inspire and manage a team effectively.
