Job Description

Introduction:   

The client is an emergency services provider having 1500 staff.   Due to the  departure of a current senior member of staff, our Client now wishes to hire an experienced Interim Programme Manager for 6 months to take over from the incumbent and to give time to hire a new permanent manager.  

 

The job role: Interim Programme Manager 

 

Salary level:  £80k - £100k 

Reporting to:     CEO                            

Direct reports/team size:     5 direct reports  

Key tasks: 

  • Review and take ownership of the annual processes and procedures review. 
  • Review and take ownership of the £50 million per year capex portfolio of projects. 
  • Ensure delivery of all projects on time and within budget. 

 

Start Date:      ASAP 

Location: South East England.    Mostly on site. Some home working. 

Duration:    6 months fixed term contract via payroll.                 Possibly Temp to Perm. 

Candidate profile: 

Experienced Interim Programme Manager 

Good PMO experience 

Ideally experience of emergency services 

Experience of leading large, complex and fast moving programmes 

Excellent people skills 

Resident in UK 

Immediately available
