Quality Assurance Specialist 

Could your Quality expertise make a direct impact on pharmaceutical manufacturing, helping ensure processes meet the highest standards of GMP, compliance and product quality?

This is an opportunity to join a pharmaceutical Quality team supporting manufacturing operations in Carlow, Ireland. You'll work closely with Production and technical teams across batch documentation, Electronic Batch Records, line clearances, investigations and manufacturing-floor Quality activities.

What you'll achieve (and why it matters)

• Provide Quality support to IPT production teams, ensuring cGMP standards are maintained.
• Review batch documentation and Electronic Batch Records (EBRs).
• Support line clearance activities and risk-based resolution of Quality concerns.
• Respond to unplanned events, technical issues and Quality events.
• Support investigations and manufacturing issue resolution.
• Conduct production-floor Quality checks and walkthroughs.
• Monitor Right First Time (RFT) and audit-readiness metrics.
• Support customer complaint investigations where required.
• Use SAP, MES and TrackWise for daily Quality activities.
• Maintain accurate documentation and records.
• Work cross-functionally to resolve issues and improve GMP standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement and Quality initiatives.

Your edge (desired, not required)

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification, preferably in Science or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years' experience in Quality within pharmaceutical manufacturing.
• Experience in a GMP/cGMP-regulated environment.
• Experience with batch documentation, EBRs and line clearance.
• Exposure to deviations, investigations or CAPA.
• Experience with SAP, MES or TrackWise.
• Understanding of cGMP, GDP and pharmaceutical regulatory requirements.
• Experience supporting audit readiness or inspections.
• Sterile or aseptic manufacturing experience is advantageous.
• Strong communication, documentation and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and make risk-based Quality decisions.
• Comfortable working fully onsite in Carlow.
• Willing to work a 4-cycle rotating 12-hour schedule covering days, nights and weekends.
