Quality Control Microbiology Analyst

Imagine being part of a team responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and integrity of pharmaceutical products that impact patients around the world. Every test you perform, every investigation you support, and every improvement you contribute to helps maintain the highest standards of quality within a modern manufacturing environment.

This opportunity sits within a newly established laboratory facility where scientific expertise, collaboration, and continuous improvement are central to success. You'll work alongside experienced professionals in a GMP-regulated environment, gaining hands-on exposure to cutting-edge microbiology operations while building a rewarding career in pharmaceutical quality.

What you'll achieve (and why it matters):

Bring your microbiology expertise into a dynamic pharmaceutical environment where quality and compliance drive every decision:

• Support day-to-day microbiology laboratory operations on an extended day shift basis within a state-of-the-art facility

• Perform microbiological testing, environmental monitoring, method verifications, and laboratory studies to ensure product quality and compliance

• Support equipment qualification activities and contribute to the establishment and continuous improvement of laboratory processes

• Generate and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and technical documentation to support compliant laboratory operations

• Review and report laboratory data, supporting batch release activities and the generation of trend and annual reports

• Participate in investigations, Root Cause Analysis, deviations, and CAPA activities to drive continuous quality improvement

• Maintain laboratory stock and consumables while ensuring laboratory housekeeping and equipment cleaning procedures are completed to the highest standards

• Participate in internal and external audits and inspections, supporting a culture of compliance and operational excellence

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to knowledge sharing, training, and technical development initiatives

• Identify opportunities for process improvement and help shape the future of laboratory operations within a growing pharmaceutical environment

Your edge (desired, not required):

• Degree qualification in Microbiology or a related scientific discipline

• 1-3 years of experience within a laboratory environment, whether in industry, academia, internships, or student placements

• Familiarity with microbiological testing techniques and aseptic laboratory practices

• Understanding of GMP requirements and regulated pharmaceutical environments

• Experience using laboratory systems such as LIMS, E-logs, or electronic laboratory notebooks would be advantageous

• Strong analytical thinking, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams

• A proactive mindset with a desire to learn, develop, and continuously improve

Why this role matters:

This is more than a laboratory role - it's an opportunity to contribute to the manufacture of products that make a meaningful difference to patients' lives. You'll join a collaborative and technically driven team where you'll gain exposure to modern microbiology operations, develop valuable GMP experience, and play an important role in maintaining world-class quality standards.
