Job Title: Technical Manager (12-Month Contract – Maternity Cover)
Location: Monaghan (commutable from Cavan, Meath, Louth, and Monaghan)
Industry: Food Manufacturing

Overview:
Our client, a rapidly expanding food manufacturer, is recruiting a Technical Manager for a 12-month maternity cover contract. This is a key site-based role with the potential to be made permanent due to ongoing growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage site technical functions, ensuring food safety and quality standards are maintained

• Prepare for and lead BRC and customer audits

• Manage and develop a small on-site technical team

• Oversee compliance with legal, regulatory and customer requirements

• Work closely with production and NPD to support continuous improvement and site development

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a food manufacturing environment, ideally with ready-to-eat products

• Strong knowledge of BRC standards and experience leading audits

• Excellent attention to detail with a hands-on, pragmatic approach

• Experience managing or mentoring team members

• Strong communication skills and ability to liaise with customers and internal stakeholders
