Founded by some of the industry’s most influential creative talent, this award-winning indie has built an outstanding reputation for producing premium, critically acclaimed content for major broadcasters and streaming platforms. With an exciting slate of productions and ambitious growth plans, the company is looking for an experienced Senior Production Accountant to become a key part of its finance team.

Working closely with Production Managers, Heads of Production and senior finance leadership, you will oversee the financial management of multiple productions simultaneously, ensuring strong financial control throughout the production lifecycle while partnering with teams across the business to help productions run smoothly and commercially successfully.

This role offers Hybrid working where, currently, you will be required to work in their lovely London offices 3 days a week.


Responsibilities

  • Managing production accounting across multiple scripted and unscripted productions
  • Preparing and reviewing budgets, cost reports, forecasts and cashflows
  • Leading regular cost meetings with Production Managers and reporting into senior finance leadership
  • Monitoring production spend and proactively identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Overseeing production payroll processes and supporting IR35 and HMRC-related queries
  • Managing broadcaster invoicing, sales tracking and debtors
  • Supporting productions with PMI processes, troubleshooting and best practice
  • Mentoring and supporting junior production finance team members
  • Assisting with audits, reporting requirements and ad hoc finance duties


About You

  • Strong TV production accounting experience
  • Experience managing the finances across multiple productions simultaneously
  • Previous experience using PMI would be extremely beneficial
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A proactive and commercially minded approach
  • Strong understanding of production payroll and compliance processes
