Job Description

A thriving TV production company known for bringing much loved stories to our screens has a requirement for an experienced Royalties specialist to join their team for a project on an FTC basis. Having experienced enviable growth over the last couple of years and with a healthy slate ahead, means this company is in a great space and this will be an interesting project for someone with extensive royalties experience.

Required for a period of 2-3 months, this project based role is required to get their royalties are in a good, clean position and that the system in is reconciled and then set up so the royalties duties can be easily handed  over to the finance team.

To be suitable for this interesting contract it is ESSENTIAL that you have extensive royalties (5 years +), preferably gained within the TV/Film industry. You will be happy to roll up your sleeves and clear down a backlog of royalty related payments (to bot receive and pay out).

You will have exceptional communication and organisational skills, along with a strong attention to detail. This role will see you investigating & resolving discrepancies and getting the royalties into a good place.

Responsibilities of the role include:

• Set up a new Royalties master tracker with all info in across all projects
• Go through all projects to determine the recoupment position
• Chase all contracts to ensure we have saved copies of all contracts (distributor/talent etc)
• Chase distributors for royalty statements
• Invoice distributors where possible
• Calculate distribution payaways for broadcasters/talent
• Send royalty statements to distributors/talent and co-ordinate their payment

This is a 2-3 month contract and will require you to the Zone 1 based London office a couple of times a week minimum.
