An internationally recognised VFX house is looking for an experience Production Finance Manager to join their team.

Known for its creative talent across many much loved TV series and blockbuster films this is a busy and interesting business to join.

Reporting into the Finance Director, this position will manage a small team and own the Production Finance & FP&A responsibilities relating to each of their projects in the UK and subsidiary offices.

To be a suitable candidate it is essential that you have extensive Production Finance experience, ideally gained within VFX, although TV & Film will also be considered.  You will need to be well versed in managing budgets and costs against multiple projects at any one time.

Key responsibilities include:

• Own & manage the production accounting function across multiple TV, Film & Commercials projects concurrently
• Provide FP&A support across the projects
• Support the SMT to forecast project revenue and ensure profitability is maintained
• Analysis of project trends, risks & opportunities
• Manage a small team
• Prepare financial and cost reports (monthly/quarterly/annual)
• Check & review bids prior to submission to the clients
• Manage the cashflow of each project

Candidate specification:

• Extensive production finance/accounting experience is essential – VFX is preferred but TV/Film/Content/Commercials will be considered
• Working knowledge of tax credits is required
• Proven FP&A experience
• Strong Excel and analysis skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to credibly influence others
• Great attention to detail, deadline orientated and strong work ethic
• Able to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
