Job Description

An award winning TV Production company with a great reputation for delivering high qualified factual documentaries is looking for an experienced FD to join their team on a part time basis (2-3 days), and initially on a contract.

This small but punchy SME has a great reputation within its field and is committed to pushing the boundaries to come up with innovative ways to connect with audiences on a global basis.

This is a hands on role, that will require you to roll your sleeves up and deal with all aspects of finance from month end to strategic advice. You will have one person reporting in who will manage the day to day responsibilities.

To be a suitable candidate, ideally you will be a qualified accountant, but it is essential that you have essential experience within the TV/Film or content production industries.

The role will require you to be in the centrally located London office for the days you work, and will initially be for 6-9 months but may turn into a longer term opportunity.

Candidate specification:
 - Fully qualified accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA or equivalent) with proven experience as an FD or Head of Finance
 - Previous experience gained within the TV/Film/Content production or related creative/media/sports sector
 - Happy to be hands on, whilst entrepreneurial, proactive and able to be agile with your approach
 - Experience of board level reporting, analysis & financial modelling
 - Both technically and commercially strong with the ability to lead small teams in a dynamic environment
 - Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with proven experience of efficiently and effectively influencing senior stakeholders.
