A rapidly growing TV production company has a need for an experienced Production Accountant to join their team on a permanent, part time basis. With a growing slate of productions across multiple territories and the increasingly complex requirements of foreign tax credits, this role will be a mix of managing the Post Production accounting requirements and ensuring all tax credits are submitted accordingly.

The role requires an individual with extensive Production/Post Production Accounting experience ideally gained within a scripted environment. The role also requires working knowledge of various tax credit processes across different European territories.

This is a great opportunity to join a lovely and great team within a thriving company. The role is required for 2.5/3 days a week and will require you in the Central London office for at least 2 of those days.

Salary range is between £50,000 - £70,000 (full time equivalent and will be pro-rata accordingly).

Responsibilities include:

  • Post production accounting across multiple productions, once handed over from each show’s production accountant
  • Ensure all post costs are tracked and any variances against budget are identified
  • Manage the tax credit process, from reviewing initial calculations to submitting all documentation and tracking through to payment
  • Liaise with foreign production Service providers to ensure all audit information is provided
  • Track status of all tax credits, ensure all payments received are correct and within funding plan timelines

About you:

  • Previous TV/Film Production/Post Production Accounting is essential, ideally with scripted productions
  • Strong working knowledge of tax credit process (International territories)
  • Confident communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organised, able to prioritise, and deadline orientated
  • Self motivated, logical, proactive and takes responsibility and works with initiative
  • Great attention to detail
  • Confident nature with the ability to intelligently challenge others when required
  • Great team player
