Our client, a leading publishing and intelligence organisation at the forefront of their industry, has operations based globally. Their advanced analytics, artificial intelligence and industry expertise transform unparalleled data into unique insights through data and analytics services. As they continue to grow rapidly, they are seeking an exceptional Finance Business Partner to support their strategic projects.

This role is initially a 6 month contract with a review for the potential longer term or permanent for the right individual. It is London based and will expect you to be in the office at least 2 days a week. The role is looking for a quick start so you need to be on a short notice or immediately available.

The Role

This full-time, fixed-term role (initially for 6 months) will be pivotal in ensuring that commercial decisions are robustly assessed, and project costs and funding are appropriately modelled and tracked. You will work closely with department heads across the business, providing high-level commercial insight and financial expertise to steer strategic initiatives through planning and implementation.  To be a suitable candidate, you will need to have proven experience in a similar role.

The salary is between £65,000 - £90,000 depending on experience and level as we are looking to consider a broad spectrum of candidates from recently qualified through to Senior Manager level.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work alongside project steering committees to refine project plans, ensuring financial impacts are fully considered.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to drive project decisions and track performance.
  • Design clear, actionable reports to monitor project progress and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Play an active role in project meetings, offering financial insight and constructive challenge.
  • Ensure strategic projects are accurately reflected in board reporting and forecasting.
  • Partner with Tax and Accounting teams to navigate financial operations, tax implications, and risk management.
  • Take on additional financial tasks as needed to support the business.

What We’re Looking For

  • Ideally, a professionally qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Strong commercial acumen and numerical skills.
  • Proven experience in finance business partnering and FP&A.
  • Confident in financial modelling, with advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders across the business.
  • A proactive and enthusiastic collaborator who thrives in a high-energy team environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact within a rapidly evolving organisation. If you’re ready to take on a challenging and rewarding role, apply today!
