This is an excellent opportunity for a strong Maths practitioner who would like to teach in a different way, working with smaller groups of learners and helping young people overcome barriers to education.
The provision delivers personalised online learning to students with a range of needs, abilities and previous educational experiences, creating an environment where young people can rebuild confidence, engage with learning and make meaningful progress.
You will deliver structured and engaging Maths lessons to secondary-aged learners, adapting your teaching to individual starting points and helping students develop both their mathematical ability and confidence.
The role will involve planning and delivering high-quality online lessons, monitoring progress and adapting teaching approaches to ensure students remain engaged and appropriately challenged.
We are looking for someone who:
Previous online teaching experience would be advantageous but is not essential. The ability to engage learners, adapt teaching effectively and build positive relationships will be key.
This opportunity would particularly suit a teacher who enjoys small-group teaching and having the flexibility to adapt their approach around the individual learner.
You will be joining a specialist provision where the focus is not only on academic outcomes, but also on rebuilding confidence, improving engagement and helping young people make meaningful progress.
The provision is looking to appoint as soon as possible and is open to both temporary and permanent appointments depending on the strength, experience and circumstances of the successful candidate.
