Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Trust Finance Manager to oversee the management of Trust and school accounts and ensure compliance with financial regulations. The ideal candidate will have worked in a school or education background, possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of financial services. This role is crucial in maintaining the integrity of our school operations while providing exceptional service to our educational community.

Duties

  • Manage and administer school accounts, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee financial accounting processes, including accounts payable and cost control measures
  • Develop and implement financial planning strategies to optimise school resources for educational programmes
  • Lead a team of financial professionals, providing guidance and support to enhance performance
  • Monitor budget performance and provide regular reports to stakeholders on school account activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery and educational community satisfaction
  • Conduct regular audits of school accounts to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies

Experience

  • Proven experience in financial management, particularly within the education sector
  • Strong background in financial accounting and reporting, with an emphasis on compliance
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, with experience managing teams effectively
  • Familiarity with financial planning principles and practices is advantageous
  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective interaction with educational stakeholders
