MAT Recruitment are delighted to be seeking an Teacher of Maths for a brilliant school in to support their Maths department. This is a full-time, permanent position, to begin in September 2026.
As the successful candidate, you must have a valid QTS, with detailed knowledge of the Maths national curriculum. You must be confident when it comes to classroom management, engaging easily with the wider school community. Key Responsibilities:

Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

Set clear learning objectives and assess student progress regularly to ensure high levels of achievement.

Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and mutual respect.

Differentiate teaching approaches to support students with varying abilities, needs, and backgrounds.

Use assessment data to inform planning, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/carers.

Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, clubs, or pastoral responsibilities.

Collaborate with colleagues and senior leaders to share best practice and continually improve teaching and learning.

Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and professionalism in line with school policies and statutory guidance.
About You
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree.
- Proven track record of raising attainment and engaging learners.
- Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current pedagogy.
- Commitment to professional development and inclusive practice.
