* Provide strong instructional leadership, modelling and promoting high-quality teaching, learning and assessment across all year groups.
* Line manage and develop senior and middle leaders, ensuring effective performance management, coaching and succession planning.
* Use data and evidence intelligently to monitor standards, identify priorities, and implement targeted interventions to raise attainment and progress.
* Champion a positive, inclusive culture that supports pupils’ personal development, behaviour and wellbeing.
* Build and maintain effective relationships with parents, carers, governors and external partners to strengthen community engagement.
* Work collaboratively with the Principal and all-through leadership team to ensure alignment, consistency and smooth transition between phases.

Key Requirements:
* Proven successful experience as a Deputy Headteacher, Assistant Headteacher or equivalent senior leader within a primary setting.
* Demonstrable track record of raising standards and improving outcomes through strategic leadership and effective school improvement.
* Strong expertise in instructional leadership, including coaching, mentoring and developing teachers at different career stages.
* Experience of leading curriculum design, implementation and review across multiple year groups.
* Confident use of data and assessment information to drive decision-making and evaluate impact.
* Excellent communication, influencing and relationship-building skills with a range of stakeholders.
* Ability to lead change, manage competing priorities and maintain high expectations under pressure.
* Deep commitment to safeguarding, inclusion and the holistic development of primary-aged pupils.

Desirable Skills:
* Experience of working within, or closely with, an all-through school or multi-academy trust.
* Involvement in successful Ofsted inspections or other external reviews at a senior leadership level.
* Experience of leading on behaviour, culture or pastoral systems across a whole school.
* Understanding of local and national education policy and its implications for primary leadership.

Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
* Degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline.
* Evidence of sustained professional development in leadership and school improvement.
* NPQH, NPQSL or equivalent leadership qualification (completed or in progress) preferred.
