We are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school seeking a Teacher of Mathematics to join their team on a fixed-term maternity cover basis.

This is an excellent opportunity for a strong classroom practitioner to step into an established department and deliver high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, this role offers the chance to teach in a well-structured environment with clear expectations and support.

The Role

You will:

• Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons that meet the needs of all learners
• Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform teaching
• Create a positive and purposeful classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum delivery
• Contribute to the wider life of the school, including form tutoring

You’ll be joining a team that values consistency, high expectations, and strong relationships with students.

The Ideal Candidate

We’re looking for someone who:

• Holds QTS and a Maths-related degree
• Has experience teaching Maths across KS3 and KS4
• Demonstrates strong classroom management and subject knowledge
• Is committed to raising attainment and supporting all learners
• Brings energy, resilience, and a positive approach
