Not every leadership role gives you a stage. This one does.

We’re working discreetly with a high-performing secondary school to appoint a Director of Learning for Performing Arts. This is a standout opportunity for a creative, ambitious leader ready to shape a department, develop people and put performing arts at the heart of school culture.

This isn’t just about running a department. It’s about building something. Setting the tone. Raising the standard. Creating an environment where both staff and students thrive.

  • A dynamic Performing Arts provision across KS3 and KS4 (with KS5 potential)
  • Curriculum design that is engaging, ambitious and relevant
  • A team of staff through coaching, support and clear expectations
  • High-quality teaching, strong outcomes and visible student engagement

You’ll be responsible for driving standards, using data intelligently and ensuring every student has access to a rich and meaningful arts education

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

  • Has a proven track record of leadership within Performing Arts

  • Strong investment in professional development and leadership pathways
  • A school culture built around high standards, collaboration and inclusion
