 MAT Recruitment are supporting a well-regarded secondary school in Lancashire to appoint a Teacher of French to join their modern languages team. This is a great opportunity to be part of a school that values languages and is committed to delivering a rich, engaging curriculum.

The Opportunity:
You will join a collaborative department where ideas are shared, and teaching is focused on building confidence, fluency and cultural awareness. The school is keen to appoint someone who can inspire pupils to enjoy languages and see their relevance beyond school.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Teaching French across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 advantageous)
• Delivering engaging lessons across all four key language skills
• Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Using assessment to support progress and inform teaching
• Contributing to departmental development and wider school life

What We’re Looking For:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Strong subject knowledge in French
• Confident classroom practitioner with effective behaviour management
• Ability to motivate and engage pupils of all abilities
• A genuine passion for languages and education
