About the Role:
- Full-time, permanent position
- Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
- Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Supporting pupil progress through effective assessment and intervention
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver a broad and balanced Science curriculum that meets the needs of all learners
- Use assessment effectively to track progress and inform teaching
- Implement targeted strategies to support underperforming pupils and close attainment gaps
- Contribute to curriculum development and departmental improvement
- Foster a culture of high expectations, curiosity and engagement within the classroom
About You:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong subject knowledge across Science
- Confident classroom practitioner with effective behaviour management
- Committed to raising standards and supporting pupil achievement
- Able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff and the wider school community
