MAT Recruitment is supporting the appointment of an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a primary SEN setting in Keighley. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate practitioner who is dedicated to delivering high-quality teaching and making a meaningful difference to pupils’ learning and development.
The Role
As a Class Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners. You will create a safe, inclusive, and motivating classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour, effort, and achievement. Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will contribute to a broad, balanced, and ambitious curriculum and play an active role in the wider life of the school.
Key responsibilities include planning and teaching lessons informed by evidence-based practice, assessing and tracking pupil progress, providing high-quality feedback, and adapting teaching to support pupils with a range of needs. You will promote consistently high standards of conduct, support pupils pastorally as required, communicate effectively with families, and contribute to enrichment activities and school improvement initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
You will be a qualified teacher with QTS and a strong commitment to high-quality classroom practice. You will have the ability to motivate and inspire pupils, build positive relationships, and work effectively as part of a team. A strong understanding of assessment, behaviour for learning, and inclusive practice is essential, alongside a commitment to safeguarding, equality, and reducing barriers to learning for all pupils.
