Job Description

This is a great opportunity for a committed and enthusiastic English specialist to join a supportive department and make a real impact on student progress and engagement. The school is open to teachers at different stages of their career, including ECTs and experienced practitioners.

The role:

• Teaching English across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience welcomed but not essential)

• Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons

• Assessing, tracking and supporting pupil progress

• Working collaboratively within the English department

• Maintaining high expectations for behaviour and learning

The successful candidate will:

• Hold QTS 

• Have strong subject knowledge in Science

• Be confident teaching in a secondary school setting

• Be adaptable and open to a temporary role with longer-term potential

• Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
