Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to lead the operational finance function across a large and diverse education setting. This is an excellent role for someone who thrives on improving processes, supporting colleagues and providing strong financial oversight.

You will oversee day-to-day service delivery, manage a team of finance staff, ensure robust financial controls and lead on month-end procedures, VAT returns and system administration. Working closely with senior finance leaders and school-based teams, you will play a central role in ensuring accurate budgeting, reporting and financial compliance.

Applicants will need AAT Level 3+ and proven experience managing a small team (typically 6–8 people). A background in education finance is helpful but not essential.
