We are currently recruiting for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of an SEN school in Bolton committed to improving student behaviour and outcomes. This is a key role aimed at supporting a positive school environment where discipline and respect are central values. This is a beginning from ASAP full time and will be a temporary to permanent role.
As the SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting students academically and emotionally. The role will focus on building up strong rapport with student. You will play an essential part in helping students daily routines in schools. To support there level of education.
Provide targeted support to individual students and small groups to help them access learning and achieve their potential.
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive, inclusive learning environment.
Support students with additional needs
Help prepare learning materials and resources under the direction of teaching staff.
Contribute to the monitoring and recording of student progress, behaviour, and wellbeing.
Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents/carers to support holistic development.
Uphold school policies on safeguarding, equality, and behaviour at all times.
You’re passionate about making a difference in young people’s lives and supporting their education.
You’re patient, reliable, and adaptable, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
You can build positive relationships with students and motivate them to succeed.
You have a genuine interest in helping learners overcome barriers and reach their full potential.
Experience in a school or educational setting is an advantage, but enthusiasm and the right attitude are equally valued.
