Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that meet the needs of all learners.

  • Set clear learning objectives and assess student progress regularly to ensure high levels of achievement.

  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and mutual respect.

  • Differentiate teaching approaches to support students with varying abilities, needs, and backgrounds.

  • Use assessment data to inform planning, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to students and parents/carers.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment activities, clubs, or pastoral responsibilities.

  • Collaborate with colleagues and senior leaders to share best practice and continually improve teaching and learning.

  • Maintain high standards of behaviour, safeguarding, and professionalism in line with school policies and statutory guidance.

 

About You

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and relevant degree.
  • Proven track record of raising attainment and engaging learners.
  • Strong subject knowledge and understanding of current pedagogy.
  • Commitment to professional development and inclusive practice.
